Thankful Hearts

We are thankful for the work we have,
Regardless of success,
For friends and family we love
Who bring us happiness.

For the freedom of religion that
Lessens trouble’s scars,
For the hope and vision that we have
With eyes upon the stars.

We are thankful for America:
For her mountains and her seas,
For her villages and cities,
For our many liberties.

Now as the old year folds its wings,
With gold in every glen,
We thank the Giver of all good
For His great love.
Amen!

Ideals Thanksgiving

Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, from our family to yours!

P.S. I’m taking a break from the homeschooling journal this Friday, but I wanted to let you know about the Lilla Rose Black Friday special. Friday only, all items will be 20% off the retail price. The Who's Hoo? Owl (October’s flexi of the month) will also reappear during this one day sale, while supplies last. Also, all customer orders over $50.00 will receive Free Shipping. Finally, I’m offering again the buy-three-get-a-certificate-for-one-free special for new Lilla Rose customers through the end of November.

Bargains galore, and you won’t be trampled in the mad rush! (I’ll post a reminder and more details on how to get one free on Friday.)

    1. I like the part about thanking the Giver for His great love the best. That definitely transcends all national boundaries. So glad you commented today, and many blessings to you!

  2. What a sweet poem. Love the precious photo of you and your family too. Such a blessing to have so many children! I always wanted more, but God blessed us with just two and one with Him in Heaven.

    Have a lovely Thanksgiving!
