Twirly Tuesday ~ Christmas Casual Elegance

Dressing in the holiday spirit can be so much fun, especially since you can make it snazzy or cute or classic or elegant. It just depends on your event and maybe your mood, and it doesn’t have to break your budget. J

During the month of December and usually into January, we wear mostly Christmas clothing. But sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge finding something appropriate for church.

That’s why the 15yo was thrilled to find this velvety snowman vest. Dress it up. Dress it down. Add a scarf. A turtleneck sweater underneath or a long-sleeve tee. Could be boots or casual shoes.

Versatility is always a plus!

What the 15yo wore ~

Black skirt ~ Classic elegance purchased at half-off at the thrift store. A basic black that goes with every season.

Snowman vest ~ Subtle holiday charm purchased at half-off at the thrift store. Could be paired with gray or white as well as red and black.

Red shirt ~ A comfortable bit of cotton that adds a touch of relaxation. We can’t remember exactly where we got it. J Either the thrift store or Target.

Black shoes ~ Payless

Want to know a secret? J I adore these shoes. They are one of the last pairs we purchased in a youth size. I wish they made them in adult sizes!

Lilla Rose flexi ~ half-up in an extra small snowflake clip. Love the way this one sparkles in any kind of light!

Little brother photo bomb! J

Merry, merry Christmas!
