Favorite Moment on Friday ~ The 16yo on Selling All

I’ve wanted to start a Friday theme ~ a brief one ~ for a while. I miss you when we’re apart! J So let’s try something new….

I’m posting a photo with just a couple of sentences of explanation. It’s a moment in our week that I consider a highlight. It could be something profound or tear-jerking or funny.

I invite you to look back through your week for a highlight and post it in the comments.

This is the 16yo’s answer to a question in a tenth grade World Literature test.

The question: According to Christian Perfection, what does Christ's instruction to "sell all" mean to the Christian today?

Most days, homeschooling is just that…school. This was one of those moments that brought tears to my eyes. Truth is being learned.

What was your highlight of the week?

  2. Amen! It is a powerful thing to see youth grab hold of God's word!

My favorite moment of the week happened just today. Our five (nearly 6) month old baby boy is experiencing his first big snow today AND he cut his very first tooth today! A day of many firsts!

  5. Your child seems to have great wisdom! It's always refreshing to hear when young people take to heart the lessons their parents teach them. We would love for you to link up this post at the Literacy Musing Mondays Linkup #LMMLinkup http://www.foreverjoyful.net/?p=782
